That looks and sounds awesome. I can't believe you have your own lift too! That is definitely on my list of house upgrades.

 

Does the Borla kit add as much HP as the NISMO kit? Which one is louder?

 

Quick question for the Borla guys.

Has anyone brazed or welded the connections so that they could dump a bunch of the clamps, or has everyone stayed with the clamps?

 

Very nice, how much did that exhaust set you back, and I don't have speakers hooked up but how would you say it changes the exhaust sound?

I do like that it looks very close to factory.

I got it for $800 shipped. Give him a call.

The pipes look close to stock. You have to really look at them to notice the difference....very subtle. The diameter of the pipe is .5" wider and they stick out a little more from the rear. I would recommend this system to anyone. It gives me about 20-25 hp (guess, not dynod yet) with my nismo cai and sounds awesome! You can definitely tell a difference throughout the power range.

I do have a nice shop to work in but a lift sure would be nice.

I noticed you have a clear bra. Did you have it done in Mem.? If so who done it.

Besides the Borla, I looked at the nismo and injen systems. All three are close as far as hp. The injen claims 15.9 and borla 12-20 The Borla and injen were definitely deeper in sound than the nismo to me. I wanted a true dual system for better flow so, that elimnated the nismo. I liked the subtle look of the borla also....gave it a sleeper look until you take off and hear her accelerate.

I bought the car with 8k miles...the bra was on her when I got it. I'm not sure where it was done. There's a place in collierville called Dick's Window Tint. He does clear bras on Z's and mini's. I've seen a few of his cars and he does nice work. He did a great job on my tint and he's fairly cheap.
