Agreed. I worked it out with Kinetix and should have mine in hand by Friday or Saturday. I plan on taking a lot of pix and will post them up in a new thread called something like "Intake Manifold just arrived (PIX)" or something close to that.

Seriously, tho... where is Kinetix based. Wondering if they ship mine by the weekend how long it would take to get to me. If I have it by Wednesday when I get home from work, I can get it on in time for ZDayZ

 

Kinetix is out of Cali. BTW, I am paying extra to have it shipped to me overnight. Remember, my car is in the shop getting the Vortech installed and I didnt want to have to tune it next week just to be able to safely drive it to ZDayZ and then install the manifold and have to have to pay AGAIN to have it tuned. Know what I mean.

 

I emailed them about upgraded shipping and 2nd day is $30 extra but don't quote me on that. According to Kinetix, shipping date in contingent on the manifolds coming back from the polisher by Thursday.

can i pay for this on friday or does it have to before?

John, you can pay thru Sunday the 15th. Just be sure to follow the instructions on the first page.

ok gosh im sorry. i know you have to have the ECU reflash, actually im not so sure, do you? also how will they know (techno square) how to tune the ECU with this manifold?

I think the main reason for doing the reflash is to take advantage of the HP in the higher RPMs. I dont think a reflash is absolutely necessary. If you are worried about the AFRs, you could probably go with a SAFC II or something like that to tune it. Im not really up to on tuning.

 

Any idea what number I am on the list? Robert said I may or may not be in the first shipment.

hmm... I wish I would have known they were offering an overnight shipping option. On the otherhand, I'd only want them to do that if I was absolutely certain I would have it by Wednesday of next week. I mean, if they overnighted it *on* Wednesday, it really doesn't make a difference for me.

Zach... since you're trying to get your IM on your Vortech & get it tuned prior to ZDayZ, I'll be verrrrry interested in seeing your dynos. What other motor mods do you have?
