sick
i managed to get them off but one of the bolt's 5mm allen socket head is totally destroyed.
the bolts seem to be 70mm M6 bolts (with a a5mm allen socket head) with lock washers... i am thinking of replacing these annoying bolts with regular hex-head 70mm M6 bolts with flat washers --- does anyone foresee a problem with this?is it a bad idea? why did nissan use these freakin annoying allen key bolts??

when removing them, I use vice grips on the short end of the allen wrench for leverage.
You will have no problem replacing them with standard bolts of the same length, if you can find them.

yeah i had M6 70mm bolts with lock washers left over from my AAM spacer install which died on me. the 70mm bolts are exactly the same thread and length as the retarded allen head bolts...
thanks.. looks like my crawford cast plenum is gnona be installed by tonight!
