Default Home-made intake problem

Well my old car was a 03 spec v. i had a nismo intake on it so i though what the hell i try to see if it will fit the z.. i made a "short ram" with the pipeing then the maf sensor then bypass valve then the filter...the filter sits where the pop charger would be. my problem is when i started the car i forgot to plug the maf sensor in. so i turned it off and plugged it in and the SES light is still on. i tried the gas pedal way but i cant get it. i can do it on the spec v but not the 350. is there a reason the ses light is on?

or go to any shop with a OBD code reader(almost all of them will have one) and ask them to clear the code for you. It will take no more than 5 mins.

Saves you a lot of trouble.
