question about header install
im installing a single turbo and thought about installing some headers also. but i dont want to add to the install time if it isnt worth it so im still debating it. my question is this, if i have the upper and lower plenum off, along with the cats and a few other parts in the engine bay and below the car taken off, will that help the install, what exactly is so hard about installing the headers. thanks guys.
You're basically done if you have the water piping and intake tube off. Just get in there and take the headers out. Half the time involved is removing stuff from the left and right side of the engine, up top. The tubing and wires are just annoying... I removed them and it made the headers very accessible.
Good luck either way,

for me that was the easiest part... taking out all the radiator piping and stuff
the hardest part (for me) was finding a way to get to the bolts on the headers and being able to torque them
^^^ yeap getting the stockers off wasn't that bad but putting the nuts on after the new headers were on was a pain, i had to use a small adjustable wrench to tighten 2 nuts, going about a 1/4 turn at a time and dropping the wrench and crap cause there was no room. but i didn't take anything off besides the intake because i figured if i could get them on without removing alot of parts, i'd be better off
