How many of you with test pipes did get a CEL?
Please provide year of vehicle as well..thank you=)

 

04.5 got CEL. then never came back after i put on HELP nonfouler mehtod

 

03, No CEL!

 

where did you get that or how do you do it?

 

i have an 04 and right after i got my helix pipes on, i got a CEL. even after reflashes and ecu resets it comes back on after some driving.

 

all you need are two packs of nonfoulers to get rid of the SES that you WILL get with an 05.

HELP! Spark plug non fouler. Part 42002 for 3.99 from autozone.
They are a 2 pack. Get two packs and drill 2 of the nonfoulers out with a 1/2" drill bit. screw the NON driilled nonfouler into the test pipe. Then screw the DRILLED nonfouler into the non drilled fouler - install your o2 sensor into that. You will be SES light free and it will cost you less than $10 and about 1/2 hour of time.

 

03 no CEL.

 

no cell for a few months... then I Got a cel, then i did the ECU reset and its been gone and no more, early 04

 

04, xerd testipies and APS TT. No CEL, but tons of rasp.

 

is it actually true that 03 with testpipe would not throw a CEL? since i have a 03 with testpipe, but i got CEL...

 

I only bought one pack and drilled out the holes and my ses light has not came back! I have a 04.
Also, if you have a problem doing the ECU reset that TS provides after you do the install go back to autozone give them you ID and they will give you the little device so you can reset it yourself. It only took me 1 min or less to do it.
OH, I almost forgot, I have helix test pipes.

 

'03 Touring w/ Xerd Test pipes. No cel but loud as **** w/ a touch of raspiness when you hit 4000 rpm

 

03, I got a SES light about a week after installing my test pipes. I reset it with the throttle reset procedure, it never came back. It's been about 4 months now.

'03 with Labree resonated testpipes - no rasp, did have SES light before had the bung holes drilled into the pipes for the O2 sensors and no light since.
