Default Removed my Pre-silencer/Resonator....MINT!

went to my local muffler shop to hack of that useless resonator/presilencer, 15 minutes and $40 dollars later I got my car back. In my opinion, SOFAR its been the best $40 ive spent on a car ever. I picked up my old man and went to an empty parking lot where we proceeded to take turns driving away from each other from 1st to 2nd gear so we could hear it from outside the car. I wish a cop could have seen us, giggling like little kids. From a standstill or inside the car I notice almost ZERO difference. The tone changes after 3500-3800 RPMs where it sounds great. Kind-of trumpety but NOT ricey like some members say. Just my opinion...

Anyone know if there is any power increase at all from this???

I just came back from the garage after hacking off the resonator. This is just my opinion, but I hated it. I had them hack it off and straight pipe it, I got in the car, revved the engine and immediatley had them put the resonator back on. I thought it sounded nasty, bland, and very unrefined. It took away the crispness of the exhaust. Then again, I like the way the stock sounds. It just needs to be a little louder. This is only my opinion though.
