Default Been Covered a Bit: Kinetix Cats

Was just trying to gauge the general consensus on the overall quality & performance of Kinetix cats? Saw a few posts with mixed reviews, and wanted to see if I could cull a fairly broad opinion. Post it if you got one!

An opinion?? Here???? You jest!

I think mine are fine. I do not like the amount of noise, but that is not the HF cats fault.

Mine work awesome, especially when paired up with the Kinetix plenum. I had a little bit of a fitment issue where one of the cats rubs a bit with a heatshield. Havent gotten around to fixing it, as I only hear it for half a second when I turn the car on. At 90mph, I am hearing my exhaust more than that...

Yeah mine did the same. You just have to get under there and bang on the heat shield some to keep it from bumping. One issue I had with those cats is that the flanges on the exit end are too small. They didn't match up with any of my exhausts and for that reason I kept blowing gaskets and getting exhausts leaks. Overall, I'd still say they are good because of the price difference.

I eventually ended up snapping a weld on my cats and had to get them replaced under warranty. They replaced them with no questions asked. One good thing is kinetix customer service is second to none.

Mine work great paired up with the HKS exhaust. I have no rubbing/fitment issues either. No complaints here.
