Thumbs up Very happy with Kinetix SSV!!!!!

Installed the SSV manifold last night, was fortunate enough to get one of the ones from the third batch, I believe the quality is better (flatter bottom section)

My impressions. First and foremost, you have to understand that I have a lot done to my car. It has been finished for over a year and half now, so this is the first new engine part that I have put on my car in a while.

A break down of my mods are two long to list but the important ones are Tomei 268 cams, crawford headers, APS test pipes, Jic y pipe, Gruppe-M intake, Jic exhaust, Jim Wolf Titanium valve springs and retainers, light weight flywheel, RPS stage three clutch and Technosquare ecu. I also have a locked rear Nismo Dif and Stoptech 14" Four wheel brake kit on 19" Volks. Key thing is that I am pulling 2 degrees of timing and running two stage colder plugs so that when I do spray I am playing it safe.

First test drive, I cant believe the power. It has completely changed the power band. The cams like to be in the 6800 ballpark to really be singing. At any RPM the power is smooth and consistent. The biggest change comes in normal driving, barely any throttle input is needed to get up to speed. It is amazing. I will dyno next week when I have a chance, my last dyno without spray was 286 I will be very surpised if I dont see double digit increase. Install was very straight forward and done from start to finish in 2 and 1/2 hours. I would highly suggest this to people who have taken there car to the next step and are looking for a bolt on to complete the package.

Thanks again to Kinetix, for a nice mod!!!

I'm very very happy with mine too. I'm totally convinced I gained some decent power for NA over my crawford V4 plenum

Had I known the 350EVO manifold was coming out by xmas, I might have waited for that instead. But I got in on the group buy on the SSV for $725 which sounds like it's going to be 30-40% less than the 350EVO and this thing can be used for FI as well. No one knows yet if the 350EVO manifold will be designed in such a way as to physically not work with FI kits

my engine temps have gone down. At least when I pop the hood after a long drive and put my hand over the plenum, it doesn't seem near as hot as the stock/crawford

Glad to hear you like your SSV.
I do have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind answering. Have you sprayed yet with the Kinetix SSV on? Where's your fogger located? Any noticeable differneces while spraying? Did you have to purchase any addition parts, like gaskets and such? Thanks.

I have not sprayed although, nothing additional is needed. I fogger is located after the before the throttle body. When I do I will let you know and post the results in the nitrous forum.

Hehee, yeah I was doing three things at once when I posted that.

My fogger is before the throttle body.
