ive been real curious about the hks exhaust too. someone mentioned a bumble-bee sound...what the heck is that? is that the sound it makes at partial throttle? i have seen a few videos of a black car with the exhaust on, and it sounds kinda good and kinda, well, bumble bee soundy

anyone else got sound clips or videos? (ive seen jaki's too, but i want to hear an NA car)

For those with the HKS, are there two HKS Hi-Power Titanium (TI) exhausts? I remember seeing a website that had 2 and 1 was more expensive. If so what is the difference between the 2? I need a new exhaust like yesterday. I put my car on the dyno last night and with my greddy evo II I only made 430whp at 12psi. they disconnected the exhaust and dynoed with only test pipes and I made 543whp on a conservative tune! Where do I get one of these ASAP? I need 2.5" true dual now!

 

Actually, there is only 1 HKS True Dual Exhaust right now. HKS did come out with the full Ti originally, but only 2 were brought over (1 sold by us). The only one that HKS USA recieves now is full stainless, with 4" Ti adjustable tips.

As far as availability is concerned (we are an HKS Pro Dealer) HKS USA does not have an exact eta on their next container. They are saying somewhere in the next 4 weeks or so. Basically, since this exhaust has been on the market, unless you are super lucky, and happen to have found someone sitting on stock, you have had to pre-order this exhaust. I don't know anything about ebay, but I would highly question anyone that says they have stock on it. The last container that HKS USA recieved with this exhaust was around 3 months ago, so you can safely bet that there is zero stock in the United States. If I had a dollar for every phone call that I've recieved asking for stock I could have bought a few of these exhausts.

I've posted on other threads on this board about the quality of sound that this exhaust produces already. But, I'll just say this: HKS USA brings ALOT of stock over in every container, and they cannot keep up with the demand. This exhaust sells itself.

 

what are the HP and TQ gains with this exhaust? Are there any dyno sheets available?

 

i got this exhaust. i'm not sure how many hp/tq gain's yet but i'm gonna dyno my car this comming thursday. the only mods i have is a popcharger and the exhaust

My brother told me that it sounds like the "cars" from the Jetsons cartoon when he first heard mine. Kind of a fast "burble burble burble" noise. I had the borla true dual and the veilside ti before settling on this one. It's my fav exhaust and not much louder than stock.

Hey Jaki...are you going to make anymore videos of your car? I really want to hear your car in more driving conditions! From what I can hear it sounds amazing. Butt the clip I have sound like the recording is a little muffled or something.

Once the streets are clean again after the hurricane damage here, I'll try to make another one. The recording of my first clip was done on a digital camera, so the sound/quality of it is not that good...
