Service Engine Lights. (I have Headers, Hi-Flow Cat, Y-pipe & Exhaust)
I have the JWT pop charger, Topspeed Headers, Kinetix Hi-flow cats, Tanabe Y-Pipe and Tanabe Ultra Medalion exhaust on my 2005 Z. (installed everything like one month ago)
However, since few days ago, the service engine light is on. (have only 4500 miles)
It idles bad... sounds like one of the cyliner is not working.
car shakes bad when driving.(under the transmission)
When I drive my car sounds like the STi, you know the boxer engine.
sounds like american muscle car or the Harley Davidson.
Anyone have this problem??

I've put the Headers, High flow cat at the same time.
and than I put the y-pipe and exhaust later. (like a week later)
And why are you saying that is no good when you put them on same time?
Any reason for that?

The ECU needs time to adjust to each mod. Throwing everything on at the same time will cause a seriously lean condition until the ECU adjusts to the new mods. Even wating a week may not have been enough time for the ECU to adjust to the new AF. How many miles did you drive in "that" week? I would have driven a couple of hundred miles after adding headers then add the hi flo cats, they are the biggest contributers to the lean condition.
As things stand now, my best suggestion, so as not to do you car any undo harm, is to remove the cats and popcharger for now. Drive a couple of hundred miles (just to be safe), then put them back on. This is kinda conservative but with your best interests in mind.
After all is said and done, with those kind of mods, you will probably want to get an ECU reflash anyways. I have similar mods and the TechnoSquare ECU reflash really flattened out my AF curve. Doing the reflash will help you get the most out of all those mods you spent good money on.
Not sure on the symptoms you described but my money is ridding on the AF mixture being too lean.

Also, since you live in CA, if you keep your car and don't sell it, you never have to get it smogged again. 04' and up now have this option per the DMV. So mod away !!!

just a quick question, by having those exhaust mods on the car. Can an Apexi AFC help? I meant do I really need to have my ECU reflashed? Cant i just get an AFC?
