Anyone else have problems with Kinetix HFC's hittin the underbody?

Default Anyone else have problems with Kinetix HFC's hittin the underbody?

I was just curious if anyone else was havin the same problems as I am with the Kinetix High flow cats hitting the body of the car, it happens when i am leaving a light and sometimes under WOT, I have tried adjusting them with little sucess, it is really startin to aggrivate me, everytime i pull away i hear a rattling noise and feel a vibration in the floor

Any ideas?

I had the same issue with Helix cats. I think this is the first I read about the Kinetix doing it. In any case you can gently pound down the area of the underbody that makes contact. It took about 5 minutes with a hammer to resolve my issue.

Have not heard of it, but wouldnt surprise me from a Kinetix product..

Yup. Mine did that until we got a hammer and crowbar and "massaged" the heat shield back.

Mine did it on the driver side. The heat shield above it is thin and easy to bend away from the cat to stop the rattle.

It is annoying if not fixed.
