Why would you select Kinetics over the other available options?

Exactly! Better options out there. IMO, HFCs are a waste, just get Test Pipes and be done with it.

I would suggest the APS or Crawford Plenum and a set of Helix Test pipes, Labree resonated or UT resonated test pipes,

yes.

Trust me, you won't give a **** about the engine cover once you take it off. The only drawback to the crawford or APS plenum is replacing the strut bar - just an added cost. That said, I still wouldn't touch the kinetix plenum

performance > stock look

Don't base your desicion on looks. The APS and Crawford are basically the same design with slightly different looks.
Link to APS plenum

Go with which ever you can get cheaper

the test pipes gives off raspy sound. I dont know if u like that but i hate hearing noises like that on a Z.

Go with the HFC.. either kinetix or Crawford. Crawford being more expensive.

I just installed the new V+ plenum and have had Megan Racing Test Pipes and love the way the car sounds. I am having Megan replace the test pipes for the updated version since they are rattling from the inside, but you can't beat the price.

Why all the bashing on the Kinetix stuff? I was real close to ordering the V+ and you guys just scared me a bit. Any substantial proof that the New V+ is subpar? Also whats wrong with there high flow's?

This is my reasearch and being such a new product with limited reviews (the V+) I didn't bother to search. Reason the owrry came about is due to the older stories I had read about Kinetix plenums. Never really read much about there HFC's but was intrigued when i saw the package on the site

too much bashing of kinetix parts here. too many people swear by crawford and too many people swear against kinetix. spend ur money where its deserved, thats all i can say.. test pipes, intake manifold... all brands pretty much give the same power +/- 1-5 hp..which isn't really measurable on a dynometer anyway... mad haters, thats all I have to say.
