Default HKS dual TI Tip exhaust or Speed Force Racing's HKS Carbon TI exhaust

What do you guys think about the Speed Force Racing Custom HKS Carbon TI exhuast?

http://www.speedforceracing.com/prod...g35exhaust.php

I think a couple of members have this exhaust system on the boards. Any reviews? I want to go with the 2.5 setup. What do you guys think? I currently have the HKS dual TI tip exhaust. I got into an accident and the tip got dented. So it needs to be replaced. Should I stick with the Ti tip or go with the Speed Force exhaust??? Let me know what you guys think.

considering i just ordered two 170mm hi power ti canisters to run my custom setup, i gotta go with the SFR setup, its more aggressive sounding and it seems like it would have better flow. the only problem i have with it is the look - i cant stand the angled mufflers - but you may like that.

bumpin this back up, not insane about angled mufflers either, but what you guys think of the sound, 3" at a good price.

sounds beeaauuutttiful, i just cant justify paying that kinda money when i can do the same thing myself, all they did was use the universal mufflers and run straight pipes back to the cats it seems... my muffler shop can do the same thing. but yes, you cant beat that sound, the HKS is way better than the borla, we have japanese cars...they should sound japanese, but classy japanese. HKS accomplishes that in my opinion.

This might justify a little bit for the price.

These systems are made out of 2.5" or 3" mandrel bent 304 grade stainless steel. We provide high qaulity stainless band clamps for a leak free seal.

Also, if you go to a muffler shop they will just use regular steel pipe. And most likely the piping will not be mandrel bent. The pipe will get crimped and cause a bottle neck.

If you do make your own. Take some pictures and let us know how much it is.

The Speed Force Exhausts are kinda high priced in my opinion.

i am certainly making my own, the mufflers are being shipped as we speak, and ill have lots of pics before, during, and after the install, along with before and after dynos that im having done on the same day (i realize it will make more power after a break in period, so ill dyno again later) and ill have sound clips. expect a very intensive writeup as soon as i get the chance. so far the expenses amount to $535.98 for both mufflers + shipping.

i agree that the piping quality and ready made hangers are going to be superior to a local muffler shop, however i don't think that will justify the extra $1000 spent. i love the SFR setup, don't get me wrong, its beautiful. i just cant afford it right now, and if i could, i dont think id want to spend that much on an exhaust, in the end im getting under 15 hp from either of these, if i lose 2 more because of piping, i wont be sad that i didnt spend that extra grand. BUT if i had no monetary worries id be all over the sfr system, and ill continue to recommend it to anyone shopping for exhaust systems in that price range

good luck to everyone with your respective setups!
