Hey guys.. I have the APS Plenum installed on my car, and I did a search but I couldnt find the answers to some questions that I have.

Okay, first off, ive noticed a white powdery substance all over my plenum when I popped the hood open a number of times. My only theory for this is that the plenum happens to be located directly underneath the uppermost vent in my Veilside v.3 hood, and i thought maybe the water from rain or something could cause the powder?? Dont know how or why, but it was just a guess.

Anyway that has a better or guess or could shed some light on this??


Also- as far as the strut bars- I know that Crawford, APS, and Stillen will fit. Has anyone tried putting some thick washers underneath the bolts for their strut and then getting some elongated bolts for the strut and seeing if it would fit then? That could be another possibility..

Any help would be great, and If I find any information out from any other sources I will be sure to post it up here for anyone else struggling with similar problems. Thanks.
