Smile You Ask: "What's The Best Aftermarket Intake?" Answer..........

J.W.T. Pop Charger

I'm so glad I bought this. Sorry to start yet another thread like this, but I've been reading about cai's on here for over a year on here & I think I made the right decision.

Install: Easy. Took more than 1 hour, but I was doing other things.

Gains: I can't comment on the gains, because this car runs worlds better when it gets cold out, but I did not seem to lose anything.

Sound: The sound it produces at wot is AWESOME!!!!! On the other hand, the "pssht" sound wasn't really noticeable. I thought it was going to be louder, but maybe I'm just being greedy.

Overall: I'm very happy with it. The sound and the price are both great. Why drop $300+ on a different intake? Except for the 'bling bling factor' of others, they all do the same thing. Buy one, because if you don't just like Mike Tyson said.....I will eat yo childrenz.

Creativity yes I'll give him, I was actually pondering something similar to do but not as noticable, to go from intake slot in Stillen bumper more direct to JWT.

Oh yea +whateva number we're on JWT best bang for buck IMO

We’ve been debating air intakes for about three years. Now that we have “THE answer,” I guess the discussion is over.

Only one intake will provide fresh air to the plenum AND dry your underwear at the same time. Kudos to the Maytag CAI.

lol Yes David, it is finally over. We can all rejoice. With my extensive testing of all intakes available on the market (and even some prototypes), the Pop IS the answer.

The whistling sound has gotten louder as the outside temps have gotten colder. Definitely an added bonus!

I have the stillen as well. The stillen and the JWT are almost the same. The big difference is the heat shield. I think the stillen looks much better.

I just put on my JWT p/c and I'm not sure if i like that high-pitched faint whistling sound.....but you only can hear it in the higher rpms so i guess its fine....
