ALmost all intakes will give you around the same horsepower. It's just up to you and how you want it to sound or look when you pop your hood. Personally I like Injen Intake, and the Nismo headers are fine.

im leaning on towards the typhoon cuz its a hybrid between ram air and cai... easier to clean and logical (no hydro lock problems)
strup headers = best for the buck
nismo is too expensive

JWT pop-charger and STOCK-unless you have aftermarket cams imo. I havent seen any legit independent proof of headers working either with dyno's or track times, (specifically trap speeds as they show power) on a Z with stock cams. I mean look at my horrible trap speeds on stock headers But if I had to choose, Id do Crawfords....

I hear good things about the Strup headers too. But best bang for the buck intake is no doubt the JWT Pop Charger. I wouldn't waste money on the Injen or Nismo CIA's, but that's just me..

Take a look at the recent header thread. There are detailed photos of various brand headers, and a debate about the pros and cons of each.
