Have a great offer on a Borla TD from a friend who is getting a new exhaust,its a borla TD but its welded............are there any negatives of the exhaust being welded?

I have welded the center H pipe and the conections behind the H pipe on my borla true duel. I had an exhaust leak in these areas. I tried numerous times to tighten the clamps down but no success. So I welded these areas and no exhaust leak. I don't know about disadvantages but I think its a plus. Off topic my borla will be for sale probably next week so anyone interested pm me.

 

What was welded? The exhaust to the hangers?
