Searching plenum spacers, I like either aam and motordyne 5/16 spacers, i would like to know how much tick aam spec is (min and max) and does it keep oem strut bar?

Did you check the AAM site about their product? All the information is there.

 

The AAM tapers from 1/4" in the back to 1/2" in the front where it's really needed.

Put mine on today, finally. Got it in a GB last year, and then couldn't get the danged strut brace off (early '03 with soft 8mm bolts), and set it aside. Easy install, an hour or so, and butt dyno says something useful happened. Put the strut brace back on with 2 spacers on each bolt on both sides, and it clears fine.

Interesting thing, though: I just had a set of Strup headers put on, and the sound out my JWT pop charger about doubled. After I got the AAM spacer on, the sound level now seems considerably reduced, I'd guess because the overall flow has improved.
