Here is another sound clip from my cell phone (not the best quality). This is a normal drive shifting from 2nd to 3rd then a double clutch downshift to second at 45mph, then winding through 2nd and 3rd gear (alot of air noise at the end of 3rd) turn your speakers up ; ) http://media.putfile.com/hks-winding I really stress maxing your speakers out to hear everything :P

yeah diesel...is that yours? thats just the catback right?

i know this exhaust sounds unbelieveable in neutral, but im still somewhat skeptical about its sound under load. havent seen any videos that do it enough justice...kinda sounds a little buzzy in the ones ive seen.

No, those are not mine. I'm getting mine installed on Friday.

Those are from a G35.

No, it's not mine but the one in the video just has the catback exhaust and the MREV mod.

Here is exactly what the exhaust sounds like. Keep in mind the person driving is not winding the car out to 7k during each shift. The last few seconds of this link gives you an idea of 5-7k (sounds exactly like that under load) http://www.exit3.net/sounds/REV.mp3.

Here are some normal driving clips to like 5k rpm - hope they clear up your thoughts on the exhaust.

exactly what i mean....it sounds really buzzy in those clips...you wouldnt think it would sound like that from hearing the car in neutral. plus, that guy doesnt even beat on it. i need to hear something better than that too convince me.

Doesnt sound so bad, would like to hear the car outside and driving though, enclosed areas tend to make every small sound you dont hear outside, stand out like no other

what about the sound comparison between the Hi-power, and the SFR setup with the universal HKS mufflers?

personally, i like the sound of the car the way it is stick, but it just needs a lot more to it

the SFR setup, in my opinion, not only looks kinda awkward coming out the back of the car, but also sounds very awkward....and as always...to each his own. theres a video of that exhaust somewhere...just sounds like a chainsaw to me
