Here's a pic of the JIC courtesy of avalonracing. It looks to be effectively accomplishing what we're discussing, but I've also heard that it has a cone filter that fits inside the stock airbox. Can anyone verify this?
Its listed a bit pricey at $285 on avalonracing.net
I don't see why we can't get a shop to fabricate the exact dimensions of the Injen tube. I'll look into it.

Great FIND! My buddy just got pulled over today and the cop made him pop his hood. He has an AEM intake and the cop was telling him that is Illegal and this and that... so,..I'm sure we can just get a fabricated pipe to replace the Plastic on right??That dosen't sound to hard!!

Sorry all!
The sound is very similar of the stock one, little more louder, but more refine and it have more "troutle" response. the thing is that first it was a experiment for know how will work the JIC intake, but is bean a good mod and very stock looking. I will post pics I promise and test it again, just in case.
