Smile Got my Labrees put on...Finally

First off I want to thank Jeff and Danny over Maximum Tuning out in Glen Cove Long Island for doing the work. These guys are professional and VERY reasonably priced. They installed my ACT Clutch and Stillen flywheel as well as my Labrees at the same time for less than most people quoted for just the Clutch Flywheel. $350 is all it cost.. for everything!

On to the review.
First off I already had the Injen Cai, 5/16 spacer, Pulleys and Borla TD.
I didn't really know what to expect when turning on the key how was it going to sound? I turned the key at fired it up. You know what? I couldn't hear a difference at idle. Then the car just died out! the revs just dropped! but that just because we need to raise the idle due to the new lightend flywheel lol. So turned it back on gave a bit of gas to keep the rpms up and wow. the grumble is very nice!. Like I was told it basically amplifies the sound of the Borla in every way. The assesmant was correct. Deeper Throatier but not abusively louder. With the windows closed it fills the cabin nicely but doesn't over do it. I was listenening for rasp at idle but nothing there.

Pulling out I stalled about 3 times getting used to new clutch and flywheel but I loved the burble added to the exhaust note. Pulling away slowly the sound really opened up and it was great. At WOT it gets mean. The power is definitely there. I didn't push it too much as I want to break in the clutch but its immediate. i felt no loss down low and midrange and hi end is noticebly faster. Once again very very minimal rasp heck the flywheel makes more noise vs the rasp. I haven't taken over 5k rpm cuz well there was traffic but I dont think I'd hear rasp up in that range

As for the smell. Its not that bad. I cant see it getting worse than it is now when it has all the sediment to burn off. To tell you the truth I dont think its offensive at all. Barely noticeable unless your standing behind or trying to find the smell as I was. At least my opinion.

All in all they live up to the hype so far as being as many say the best Test pipes. Thanks again to Maximum tuning out of Glen Cove for throwing them in!

I'll try and get a vid of it soon but cant make a promise as to when. hopefully the weekend?
