Default Any try the short ram Injen filter?

has anyone here, that has the Injen CAI, tried their short ram air set up?

im curious to see the difference between high rpm HP with the full up CAI setup and the Short ram. (i.e. replace the bend, with just the filter inplace)

curious to see if the air resonance along that bend at high rpms will limit air flow due to the reduction in air velocity.

That guy is me.... yes I put the injen filter in the end of the pipe, sound louder and gave me basicly the same HP that with the stock box, but I stick with the black box because is more stock looking and don't feed w the hot air of the engine.

So w/ the injen filter it was louder then using the injen and stock box???? or just louder then stock w/ no injen.

It was louder than using stock box, I never took off the Polish injen pipe, just change the filters (this is beside testing it w all the kit, Red long plastic tube.)

now the question really is. most of the HP gain is from that polished tube anyway, right? since you only lost 1 hp from going back to the stock air box, but with an overall HP gain.

i bet you could get more power if you had that polished tube and JWT's velocity stack cone filter..
