Default Catalytic problem

I was installing an injen intake today and I looked under the car while I was working and noticed that one of my cats looked like it had a hole with white stuffing coming out of it. I think it was the catalytic converter. Anyone know what this could be?

Its a bit unusual to have a hole in the catalytic converter, but anything is possible. Check your warranty about emission parts.. Either have them replaced by Nissan for free, of replace them with a suitable alternative.

the hole is where teh gas comes out of. I think its normal. (jk)

If you're under 100K miles, nissan will replace that free of charge by law.
