Default MD 5/16 spacer and passing smog

Was wondering would the MD 5/16 spacer effect my smog check? Would I pass still, does the spacer effect emissions? I'm in CA. Thanks

If your car is doing bad emissions-wise, it will throw a code / check engine light.

Since you are not modifying the catalytic converters there is no reason it should throw any codes, and since the cats are still doing their job, they will get rid of all the pollutants (unburned fuel, NOx) etc. Should not have any problems.
