Why not have a high powered electric motor hooked to the Intake half of a real deal turbocharger? Surley there is a motor that could go the 100K RPM needed.

go to boosthead.com and read about that specific electric supercharger. dyno more than 60+ whp on a ka24 altima.

WOW.. thats crazy.. Just what I was talking about!! $1600 isnt too unreasonable either.. Too bad it is only for Short Bursts though.. You have to mount 2 Batcaps in the trunk and they are good for only 10, 15 second runs with the blower on before you have to re-charge them fully.. More like Electric NOS... But cool none the less..

You're better off buying nitrous. A 120 shot and bolt ons is enough to keep up with a turbocharged Z.

This may not be as crazy as it initially looks. Garrett has been working on an electrically driven supercharger for quite a while now. The are also rumors of a combination set up where an electric motor spools up the compressor until enough exhaust gas is available to drive it at the boost level.

Can the stock battery handle 13kW?
