of course you would pass if there's no visual. As long as you have cats, it's all good with smog.

I did see the mirror though. The "My cats got damaged in a wreck" excuse was ready at the tip of my mouth.

why wouldnt you pass a smog if you have cats, its not like you are running test pipes

You have to expect that, they are cats after all, but I still like to see this. Too many factors involved, and I'm not certain if you loose some catalytic effieciency going hf, add a rich tune and I could have seen it having issues. Glad it doesn't.
