Default serious opinion on intake

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unive...mdZViewItem---

What i found on ebay while looking for a 350z kit. really made me do some researching in it lol, mixed reviews, don't bash me or anything. im not against it or for it. i can see how it works though lol, i've seen dyno test of a leaf blower stuck in the intake adding 11hp lol.... on a civic. I'd just like other people to chime in with ideas or opinions. thers a local dyno shop arond here and i plan on getting alot of runs in for other mods. i might get this and get a run to see if thiers a difference lol, i really cant see how it hurts. I'm really interested in the K&N typhoon kit though. so i might disregard this completely. let me know what you think people. thanks

pros- I dont see how this can hurt the car if its connected to a WOT switch
-Blowing more air into the car would help obviously
-spooling the aircan create a good velocity effect

Cons- more air mess up the a/f ratio? ( same thing aftermarket intake does?)
-when not being run could restrict some air from getting in because of pieces in way?
