Default best exhaust in your opinion?

quick question, i'm looking for people's opinions on the best [sounding] exhaust for the Z. i'm looking for a kind of deep sounding growl when i turn it on.. yet i dont want it to sound like a bee hive when im on the high way.

Do a search for exhausts as everyone is going to say what they have is the best. You will find many threads on this but to really experience a exhaust it has to be seen and heard in person.

Nismo exhaust would be louder on the start-up and lower rev, while keeping the stock hollow sound.

I recommend that you:

1. Set a budget.
2. Consider the design that you want. Single. Dual. One muffler. Two.
3. Search for a match.
4. Buy the exhaust that you like best.

EDIT: 3.5: Set-up a local meet to hear exhausts from local 350Z owners.

In order to really hear an exhaust tone you have to put your ear really close to the exhaust tips and have a friend rev the s**t out of your car

Try using google, froogle, and shopping around various sponsors/vendors. Also check marketplace section of the forums.

Base on your interest in sound, the Borla would be your best bet. It also has one of the better hp gains.
