Default for K and N typhoon users...CLEAN your FILTER!

i just checked my filter the other night and WOW...THE ENTIRE UNDERSIDE WAS BLACK . i thought the scoop that leads to the front bumper was non-functional because of the extreme bend of the piping. but apparently i got a lot of dust in the box that was sucked up...and my scoop and pipe were pitch black in the inside. last time i cleaned the filter was only 5 months ago. i decided t check it out after a run to malibu after my sway bar install. i noticed that my acceleration was a tad weak. i thought it might be time to replace some new spark plugs (plugs haven't been replaced in 50K)...but decided to check the typhoon filter just in case. big difference in acceleration now.

i think this should apply to CAI guys as well since the scoop is located near the ground.
