Default Removing resonators?

Hey guys-

I was talking to a guy with a Z, and he said he removed only the resonator's off of his Z, and it made it sound pretty good. Anybody know anything about this? Good sound? Power gain/loss? Thanks .

well dumping resonators or cats will always yield good sound. someone did something like that and had a stock catback. he had a clip of it somewhere on here. one other guy did a magnaflow swap and it sounded sweet with the rest of the stock stuff.

I'm going to remove the resonators from by Borla system sometime next week. I'll let you know how it turns out.
