Everytime i hear that distinct tone of a g35/350z starting up.. i can instantly tell its a vq35..

but i must say that the g35's exhuast sounds better compare to the 350z.. it has more of a luxury sound..

i understand there is a length difference between the two.. but at where?

stock vs stock.. is it longer at the b pipe? y pipe or the pipe going to the muffler? has anyone tried to put a g35 exhuast on a 350z ? just the muffler section.. i would think its the same right? but if there is only the length difference then how come the two exhausts sound so different?

so the g35 exhaust should bolt right up on a Z? has anyone done this and notice a difference in sound and performance?

Someone hit the nail on the head. We have changed many G35 and 350Z exhausts so we have a bunch of stock ones sitting at our shop at www.stagemotorsports.com

Its the center pipe, which is longer. Its like any other musical instrument, when you change the length you change the sound.

And yes I do agree the G35C exhaust sounds sweeter then our 350Z ARRGH heheh thats why i'm getting a new exhaust heh
