Speed Force Racing true dual
After lots of consideration I went with a SFR Dual HKS Carbon Ti exhaust.
The fit and finish was pretty good with the welds being exceptional.
after a couple of hours the install was complete. I had a couple of issues on the install one being that the passenger side center section was an inch too long but after a minute with the saws-all and a file it was perfect. The other issue was the brackets that hold the HKS cans have pretty cheap mounting bolts which broke when I was adjusting them. Tim as SFR is sending me a new bracket and I made the old one work with new bolts (had to grind off the captured nut which was the real problem).
I did take the time to weigh the exhaust which came to 46 pounds, a 21 pound savings over my stock exhaust that came up to 67 pounds.
Now as far as the sound goes... It is very deep and loud (I am an autoxer and plan on taking it to the track so performance was more important than the exhaust being loud especially the lighter than stock part). I may need to do some work on the loud part if it becomes too much for me on the hour long commute to work (the wife is not fond of it but she is very sensitive to loud noise).
I will be putting up some sound clips as soon as I have time to get them made.
Additionally if you have ever looked at the SFR on the website it looks like it hangs down pretty low. IRL it does not hang down very low and I have had no clearance issues with the exhaust going over speed bumps or anywhere else so far...
All and all I am happy and the car does feel like it has some performance gains when driving it, my butt dyno likes what it feels...

I helped with the install, other than what was mentioned, the exhaust is very nicely made. Great canisters and it sits just right. Only other thing Kirk forgot to mention was that we had to remove the evap canister cover-found on passenger side rear-so that the muffler would sit right. Kirk-we gotta make a movie of the exhaust screaming by!

They have both a 2.5 for NA and a 3.0 for FI...
here is a pic of the ground clearance from the rear...
As you can see there are no ground clearance issues.
Sound clips coming as soon as I can make them.

Nice exhaust! I am looking into this exhaust as well for my new F/I setup. I am really interested in the sound. If you could, can you get some drive by clips while driving normal and also WOT, or course
Can you give us any description of what this sounds like in real life. Does it sound similar to any other exhaust?

You guys asking for dyno's need to get real. You guys need to realize the difference between most any exhaust for the Z will be 1-3whp, its NOTHING. Every exhaust has the potential to make power, you guys worry about dyno numbers for mods, then dont go tune your lean running cars to maximize what you have. Serious advice-get the exhaust you like the looks of, sound of, and price-no exhaust on the market "blows" others away on an NA car.
Tany-nice x-pipe and resonators, how did it change the tone of the exhaust? Did it eliminate the slight mid range rasp?
