Default Thank You Motordyne!!!

Just installed the mrev2 and 5/16" spacer. It was worth every penny and the ~4 hours it took me to install. I can really feel the torque difference. All I can say is I am very pleased.

sound - softer/deeper on the low end. Mid to high range has a definate growl. Pulls really good from 3-6k rpm. I even notice the torque in 4th gear at low rpms without dropping gears, i actually have some power now. Hope that helps.

Do you know what numbers you got out of the two?

Oh and this isn't really on subject but if you could just give me some basic knowledge on the mrev that would be great. I haven't really heard of it before?

MREV is a lower plenum mod.
It makes about the same gains as a spacer on the 287 engine. But on a REVUP engine it makes much more. Especially if it is used with a spacer.

On either engine it makes a higher average gain than any other plenum mod.

Will it work with the non rev up engine if you already have a aftermarket plenum?

They would have to be looking for them. If you did MREV2, there's almost zero chance they would ever find out. If you did MREV2+spacer, they *might* notice the spacer or the strut bar has shiney new bolts / spacers

We've had many many happy customers confirming a definite power gain after we installed the MREV2 and spacer. 5/16" Plenum Spacer MREV2

Brian,

On a Non-Revup engine, you'd recommend just the spacer correct?

I have a coworker who had a non-revup with the MREV2 and he said that he felt a difference.

I'd recommend mrev2 only instead of spacer only (don't forget to do the core exchange and get cash back) unless you're willing to spend the big bucks. If you want to know why, search for my thread in this forum about "mrev v2 independent dyno tested blah blah"

anecdote: when the mrev2 was being tested on my car... I'm pretty sure the name of the mod was not carved in stone yet... hence me calling it "mrev v2" sometimes. Now it seems "mrev2" has stuck.
