BTY, the SS version and Ti version do have a distinctly different sound. The resonance on the Ti sounds more exotic and unique. The SS however does sound quite good as well.

I have heard different things.. some say Nismo is louder some say the Fuji Ti is louder. BTW I have the Nismo on my car. I want to know how it sounds compared to the Fuji Ti. BTW Vandy, your car looks awesome. I love the vertical "Z"s going down on your car.

The nismo exhaust was contracted out by Nissan to Fujitsubo, but it really is not the same exhaust as the LegalisR. It is hard to make descriptions on sound but if I had to, I would say the Fujitsubo branded exhausts are a "tuned" sound and the Nismo is more of an "aggressive" sound.

While the Y pipes and midpipes on the Fuji and NISMO are nearly the same, the muffler sections are not, and it's the muffler section of any exhaust that really determines the note it emits.

It should be in tomorrow. I was gonna install it on my uncle's lift but decided not too because I would have to install it on Saturday, and I'm pretty busy that morning.. I gonna install it in my shop instead. I'll make sure and take pictures for you guys.

I still paid more than I ever wanted to for an exhaust, but its one of my favorite things I have bought for it.

I nearly lost grip of mine . . . I knew it was light but until you pick it up it wont register in your mind. The perception of the possible weight based on its size will throw you the first time you pick it up. Just dont toss it across the shop like I almost did when I "snatched" at it. LOL

As I promised, here are the pics from the install I did in my little shop.
I was surprised to see UPS delivered a day ahead of schedule. I started the install about 9:30pm and finished about 1am. It took a long time because I like to take my time and am very maticulous. I cleaned all the rubber bushings real good, oiled them up also, and inspected the undercarriage while I had the car up in the air. I took the Z for a tst drive last night also. The exhaust note is sexy!! It is exactly how everyone described it. Extremely quited during idle, but sounds tough when you hit about 4.5k rpm WOT.. It is definitely an exhaust for the reserved person.... It's exactly what I expected, doesn't cause attention unless your zooming by another car @ WOT.
The tips are significantly larger than the stock and look way better. While I was installing it, I couldn't believe how light it was! Unbelievable! When I removed the stock muffler, which BTW was a b!tch to get off the rubber hangers, I was laying under it on my creeper board and just let it fall on me. It was quite heavy in comparison to the titanium muffler. Everything fit perfect... Another thing I noticed while test driving was the throttle response. As everyone stated, it significantly changes the throttle response. It's much more responsive now.... Enjoy the pics guys..
