Well I used to own an evo and absolutely loved it, I had to sell it to start up a business and therefore have a work truck. To make a long story short I want a sports car again with 2 doors and 2 seats. My choices the S2000 and 350z. I for the first time drove actually 2 different 2000's the same day and was not impressed at all, felt like my 99si had more power. Anyways I decided to go w/ the z and have read about and heard many of mods so in a few of your minds tell what you got or wish you had got. The best part about this whole thing is my wife actually wanted to get a z but got a new 4runner w. V-8 and borla exhaust, so that mean she is behind 100%

Just my take:
Intake - JWT Popcharger
Header- Too much money and work involved in install...pass. Substitute with a Plenum spacer, Underdrive pulley OR Test pipes/ highflow cats.
Exhaust - Nismo(aggressive stock sound), Greddy EVO (deeper tone), HKS (a little of both) Amuse or *insert random expensive ambiguous JDM name here* (lightweight titanium).
Some guys are going to say 'save the money for force induction' but fug that. Not everyone wants to do that off the bat.
For specifics, just search the words I've mentioned.
Welcome to the club...and good luck.
