You guys forget DC offers a race header and the standard ceramic/SS ones. The strup are a copy of the standard DC headers.

I've posted the comparison pictures numerous times, so why not once more, eh? The tubing design is identical between the strups, DCs, nismos, alphawerks and topspeeds. The only discernible difference is that DC took the extra step to de-bur the welds on the inside of the collector:

I've had DC headers on my car for at least 20k miles. Not one single complaint here, great headers.

I was curious about it myself so I called DC today and they said they don't have a Race Header available for the 350Z but they do for some other cars. For the 350z they have two stainless versions, one polished & one satin finished and the ceramic version all of which have the same bends, flange, pipe diameter, etc.. just different materials & finishes.

Do you have HFC's or test pipes ? if you are going to install headers now is the time to get rid of the OEM cat's ( very restrictive ). I had my Strup headers installed with Crawford HFC's and saved a few dollars on the install. After these two mods I felt more pull up top in the rpm band... As I was told, your exhaust will only flow as good as the weakest think, my combo ( in sig ), seems to have worked very well.. you will also want to get more air into the motor via intake and plenum and then of course a tune....Good luck and keep an eye on the market place, always a good deal to be found.

Yeah, I thought they only had regular headers. Just wanted some kind of confirmation since the other guy was claiming there were race headers out for our cars.

Oh, and I have TP's with my headers Love it!!

My receipt said $571 for DC ceramic headers. Bought them new from a member here though - only paid $330. I believe the stainless are $699

Man compare those strup/aphaworks collectors to the DC ones. The DC collectors are much smoother.

Checked it, no race header for our cars. Another board member above even called DC to inquire about it, and they told him they didn't make any race header for our car....

Are you even reading this thread?

Sorry for being this back to life but just thought that I would add that strup headers are a flying sack of $hit. Not even 2000 miles on mine and the flange broke right off of my driver side header. Now I sit here doing this pita job over again because I bought a garbage product. Buyer beware

Ive had a totally different experience. I picked up my Strup headers used, and not like a gently used, like they have been through some crap. Then I put them on my car and they have been there for 3 years of daily driven, Pennsylvania winter/salt hell
