Default Sluggish Z! with all bolt ons

Hello all I just left the ASAA Racing. They let me test drive my Z since ill be picking it up Friday. During the test drive I was highly disappointed.
I had These bolt ons installed, JWT flywheel, Act Clutch Disc, Act Pressure Plate, Top Speed Y Pipe, Top Speed Exhaust, Top Speed Headers, MD 5/16 spacer. I installed myself the UD Pulley, Pop charger and Varis Air Duct.

My car felt extremely sluggish. My car did not rev up any quicker then it did stock. The car from first, second to third felt as if I was waiting on some sort of boost. The car was extremely sluggish and on top of that all of my lights were on like my engine light, my VDC, and all the rest. The guy at the suggested my timing may be off due to my lightened flywheel. He did admit the car was sluggish and He was going to call Jim Wolf tomorrow. I never had timing problems stock and I never read anything in this form stating that the timing would be affected.

I was expecting my car to loose some torque but I have a 03 performance so I have tourqe to spare. The exhaust sound great but there is no since in having a loud a$$ exhaust and the car is slow as sh it. Has anyone else herd of this happening. I know it needs to be tuned but damm..I never expected this. I was expecting to put down at least 260 unturned and 270ish tuned. Literally the car sound bad *** but I would not pull up on a civic the way the car is now. Please someone give me some advice

If I remember correctly the stock ECU will compensate for any mods that are put on the car. You probably won't really see any of the gains until it's tuned.

I noticed you have an emanage, are they going to tune with that, did they change anything with that after they put the mods in?

are you kidding? is it possible they didn't install all the parts? the flywheel /clutch alone should show an improvement... no way the ECU can compensate for freeer revs.

yeah motormouth thats what i said. it should at least rev faster but not it sure dosent. im pissed cause i spent 1800 for this steup due to the fact that I had a bad pressure plate that bought from a guy in the marketplace so naturaly i had to pay re install plus 340 for the new pressure plate

Are you running the exhaust with the silencers?

no high flow cats or test pipes?

you probably just need a tune, but for the time being reset your ECU by unplugging negative terminal, overnight, and pump the brakes before reconnecting.

Whats the status with your emanage?

So the emanage is plugged in but not tuned? Are you using an autosport harness, or is it directly wired into the stock wire harness?

You should get the check engine light looked at and find out what code it's throwing.

My guess is a fuct up clutch and/or flywheel install, because if you're off by 1 tooth or something I think you can have problems.

You need to get the ECU code checked, since they probably caused the problem, they should fix it ... you shouldn't have to pay double or triple labor.

The ECU code will help solve the mystery

he said he's gonna have the code pulled but i got a feeling they are trying to get out of it. stating that the the sudden flywheel may have caused the timming to be throwed. I should have forked up the money to SGP in the frist place cause even though they are high as hell you car is right the first time.

I know I read somewhere somebody had some weird issues after a flywheel or install was done improperly.
