After months of experimenting, I found a cheap (< $15.) and effective way to address the CEL issue after removing the cannister. I reused the sensors from the OEM cannister, mounting one on an end cap, and the other in-line with a hose. It simulates the original installation exactly, sans the charcoal content of the cannister. As far as the ECU knows, nothing has changed. No CELs after more than 2K miles. Did not have to cut any of the original hoses, or damage the cannister either.

No, the midpipe which includes the resonator is 3", the rest (including the "mufflers") is 2.5".

AAM has a 3" y-pipe that would match your mid-pipe

http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/mm5..._Code=350Z_EXH

they also have test pipes that ppl have reported to have less 'rasp' than other TP's

curious about an update on your exhaust? that price is just unbelievably low considering retail is 228,000 and 238,000 yen depending upon model. so the price is 2050 to gruppe-s and then you pay shipping from there? or is it 2050 plus shipping from Japan?

I'd get the AAM HFC since it is the best one, and money is no issue to you. JIC or tanabe Y pipe are the best ones.

keep us updated with this thread, a consistent supplier of amuse is difficult these days due to the distribution of the product in japan.
