I'm trying to get a gauge on what the dB level of this exhaust set-up would be:
-headers (strup), TP (strup), y-pipe to single 3" (AAM)
The exact dB level that I'd be looking for is the max sound at 25 ft away from the car (any direction) @ WOT.
has anyone measured this?
thanks,
Peter
*I'm starting to prepare my car for SCCA BSP class and want to mak sure I won't exceed noise requirements...I need to stay under 102dB (seems high, but just want to double check before I start spending $$. according to http://www.rcaanews.org/noiselev.htm , I need to make less noise than a jet)

103 is quite loud... I think you'll be fine. Maybe you'd have more luck posting in the drag / autoX / etc forum. I know you're not talking about drag, but nevertheless the people in those forums tend to be more knowledgable.
That would be hard to say if anyone has actually measured db with that combo. I have Greddy Evo2, resonated TP (which at the time was kind of quit) and headers. When I added them it got pretty loud all the time.
