Default Plenum Spacer

I hear everyone talking about the Mrev+ and so forth but I was wondering what is the advantage of this and what is it doing to the car as I am wondering will you have to change spark plugs and other things when you lowere the upper plenum?
Also How do you add the extension on an air intake to go into the front bumper area? Do you have to pull off the front bumper? and is that easy to do?
Thanks

ok well i will try and help you out,

on the spacer it depends on what type and size you get, i dont think you have to do anything with just a 5/8 spacer, but...if you go any bigger you have to change out the strut bar/ on the air intake in the front bumper you should have a shop cut out the hole, i would assume that the bumper would neeed to come off, but thats not to hard...i would still have a shop cut the whole tho, hope this helps

5/16" spacer is the berst since it lets you keep the strut bar, but wont work with aftermarket hoods... it will rub , unless you get a cf hood... but otherwise MD 5/16" spacer is the best... check intenerpower.com i think they had a group buy and they have best pricing out htere =]

Welcome.

There is a wealth of information here. I suggest that you read and learn. When considering performance mods, nothing beats seeing and talking to the owner. Join a 350Z group. Check the stuff on their cars.
