Default What Do I Have?

Hey guys...
i was wondering if someone could help me out? I have an '04 Touring A/T 350...question is....is it a REVUP motor or no?...All i know is that it has 287hp stock...i know it sounds silly...but im looking to do the Mrev2 and Spacer Mod combo...and i just didnt want to get the wrong information...thanks
p.s.-couldnt find anything about this on the search threads...on what motor...

The rev up motors are the 300 hp ones. Usually the 06 or 35 anniversary editions.

ok great! btw...is the motordyne Iso 5/16 spacer a good choice? or no?

can't go wrong with either MD's 5/16 spacer of AAM's angled spacer.

would you leave the stock Mrev that came with the car....or upgrade to the Mrev 2?

Just go with the 5/16th spacer.

The MREV2 gives you VERY little bang for the buck on the non-revup motor. You would be better off spending that money somewhere else.

i am in the same boat...and new to the 350z....i was reading the 100 most common questions...and it says that MREV2 on a 287hp motor wil amount to more gains than a spacer...correct me if im wrong.

it said mrev motors will gain a lot with spacer and mrev2 combo, but the 287 will gain from just the mrev2

Hi Guys,

The MREV2 on the 287 engine will make higher average gains than a spacer, but the combination of a MREV2 with a spacer on a 287 engine will make a little bit more but only about 2-6 HP more at various parts of the curve.

The REVUP engine of course gains a lot more from the combination of the two.
