Just got this in the mail...Strup headers w/ Jet-hot's 2000 flat black ceramic coating

Strup headers came with all the needed bolts and nuts to attach to the heads and to attach to the cats (the OE headers have 1 of 3 bolts permanently attached to the OE headers)

The welds and overall quality look great ~ now I just need to get a weekend off from work to get this installed!

That's sweet... Did you get them sent straight to get jet-hot coated from where you ordered the headers? Who did you go through and HOW MUCH total??? This is what I have in mind for my next mod...

I had them sent directly to Jet-Hot from Strup (Strup is one of my sponsors
). Jet-hot coated them for ~$200 ... it's a bit expensive, but after reading up on using header wraps, engine temps, and related articles, I opted to get them coated - the coating should reduce engine temps, extend header life (prevent rusting and thermal stresses...), and possibly sqeeze out a few more HP - doubt it'll make much difference b/c it's on a nice set of headers already (you can make some HP when the coating makes the inner surface of the headers flow better - proabably for OE type headers)
I'll be installing these ASAP - but it looks like I might be working every weekend until Christmas
(At least I get some extra car money from the OT hours)
I think they'll look good on the car too - I could have gotten a few different colors, but opted to match the 'super black' theme

The hardware looks high quality too. Let us know how the install goes.
