I can talk down on them because I had them all.

I voted K&N cuz thats what i bought for 100 bucks used. I haven't seen or tried anyother intake, so maybe my vote is invalid. I can say the K&N typhoon is pretty good for 100 bucks, but for almost 300...ehhh...idk.

I had just the K&N drop in before and that wasn't so bad either, but if your gunna spend 50 bucks on that you might as well spend the little over 100 for the JWT.

My attitude is that there is no point in paying over 150 bucks for an intake unless you just like the louder noise, it made my stock exhaust sound alot better at WOT. If thats what you like then the K&N is pretty loud.

That doesn't make them a bad part or investment. It all depends on what your goals are. Like I mentioned, not everyone wants F/I.

Talking

What a surprise (sarcasm) JWT vs. Stock Airbox vs. Nismo.

+1 to that.

I thought most of us were well past the "What's the best (insert exhaust, intake or lowering spring name here) arguments."

There are new members to this forum on a daily basis. I would consider that a bad assumption.

There are also "stickys" on ever forum sub-section right at the top that suggest using the search key!

Simple. JWT is cheap and puts out some nice gains for what it is. Best bang for the buck. And you won't have problems with cleaning \ water inside of the housing or filter too much.

I'm also for the stock airbox w/modified filter idea. Especially if you have some type of ram air device (varis, EVOR, or v2 duct).

Before I got my procharger, I had the AEM. It had a nice whistle to it around 3k+. I think all intakes are minimal gains, so buy a JWT popcharger and move on to the next N/A mod, unless you buy something used already and in good shape.

Does the intake void your warranty?
