Where does the Heat Shield go on the Injen CAI

Where does the Heat Shield go on the Injen CAI
I had my favorite shop install the CAI and cannot find the heat shield. Is it mounted somewhere out of site, or did my shop leave it off?

Uh, wheres your filter? It should be in your front bumper somewhere, so theres no need for one.

look on your driver side valve cover it should be there

it's over top of the stock heat shield on the driver's side. it is difficult to see with the Injen installed.
