I recommend the Borla. It made nice gains from me and I have recieved nothing but compliments, especially since I added the TP's.

Fast Intentions Intimidator!!!

Pro's..
Great gains
Great customer service
No drone!
Great quality and looks
You can talk to the man who built the very system you bought

Con's:
Looks too stock for some
Maybe not loud enough for some

Overall, a perfect setup for me. I had the new Injen Track Edition Ti Tip exhaust prior to the Fast Intentions and while it looked kick-***, it was too loud, droned too much, and looked too aggressive for the look Im going for.

FastIntentions hands down

Dyno sheet? How much does the system weigh? What size is the piping?

I remember reading somewhere that the Intimidator system is 5 or 10 lb lighter than the factory exhaust. I think thats good considering that its a dual and the factory is single.

Say what? I thought the Nismo shaved about 10 lbs off the stock exhaust system.

All -

True duals, like the HKS, Stillen and the Intimidator, will give you in upwards of 2.5-4x that Nismo power gain for the money. Stillen is the only one that is heavier than stock, HKS is about the same weight, and the Intimidator is about 5 lbs lighter is Stainless Steel. The power gains are dyno proven from USERS.

Nismo is not the BEST quality overall, everywhere as stated. Much of Nismo's aftermarket parts, are other manufacturers re-branded for them, because Nismo thought they were best of breed and didn't want to re-invent the wheel.

One other thing not mentioned about the nismo exhaust, is it's shape. The stock exhaust was shaped to fit in the space in back, and it helps aerodynamics/air flow underneath the car. Without that oval shaped muffler in back, the rear bumper acts like a parachute. The nismo exhaust is pretty much the same shape as stock. Look at the new Nismo kit:

It maximizes air flow through the back. Looking at the TAS, it looks like this type of design for the rear is "the in thing." It's good for performance, but not for the eyes.

It's my understanding that when I purchased it 2 years ago, it was the top gainer. I'll try and find the dyno charts.

Found it. 16hp gain.

If you want the best sound out of an exhaust, trust me go with HKS Dual Hi power. I just put it on my ride and am super gas pedal happy. Its pricey though, i got mine for $1,335 Installed and shipped.

HKS ALLLLLLL THE WAY BABY

your, kidding me right. Besides being eye candy and having a great sound tell me one dyno that jusitfies a hks exhasut price beyond lets say a borla or a stillen TD. I would love to hear how the hks exhasut dynos are a leap in performance .Actually if you searched newb you would see some dynod 5 hp gain with teh hks exhaust. To me its a sound and a look. If u want more power i would lean towards whats already known to make a little more power. borla stillen and fast intentions. Even the injen ti track made more power from my findings. Not saying its not a nice exhuast . But cmon, dont think its the best thing out there performance wise. Cuase dynos vary and each dyno i have yet to see what they claim on there website. Dont fool yourself newb.

If im going to go all out for a exhuast it certinly wont be HKS
if you wanna a exhuast that its actually makes hks look bad performance wise and look wise
get a arc ti exhaust or a amuse ti. If your going to go that high in the name brand get the one that actually are worth everypenny . The rest is more sound and look then anything seriously. Unless turbo'd.

yea i agree it is subjective. I myself am becoming fond of borlas sound and injen Tis gains. Its really up in the air. The HKS is nice but for the power , ill probably get something that performance excalty the same just sounds and looks different.
