Default 350z Exhaust Decision?

I have recently ran across enough money to purchase any aftermarket exhaust out there which one is the best? I want a deep tone that keeps its sound through the rpm's. i also would like it to be kinda loud but not to loud. i hate ricey sounding exhaust like you get with Vtech motors. Any tips would be great

I have the Injen SES 1985C Dual cat-back and it sounds great. I think it fits the bill for the sound you're goin' for. I get compliments on it all the time. It's got a very unique sound. I think I paid around $1K, don't remember exactly as I bought it about 2 years ago.

I recommend that you:

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration is best for you. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers.
c. Listen before buying.

Altered Atmosphere has a few different high quality single & dual exhaust systems; plus they have a Y-pipe, test pipes, and HFC's...so you can choose which components you want for how loud you want it to be.

HKS, Stillen Fast Intentions all sound good.

Its just a matter of preference.

I love it how people ask for an opinion and then never return to comment on their thoughts or progress...

DavidV has the best advice... There are so many of these threads you don't even need to use the search function to find one. Just read through the last couple pages of posts...

And that is my point. 04lemansZ has been gone for 70 days never to return. No follow-up. Not even a simple thanks. My parents taught me that when people offer help, the least that you can do is say thanks. My IGNORE list is filled with dead-beats. Add this one.
