Default Fujita Short Ram vs Injen Cold Air on Dyno

We did a little dyno testing last week with these two intakes on my 06 G35 and the results were slightly less stellar than I was hoping for.

nice to see some actual whp #s from intake systems...you all should have given the SRi version of the Injen a shot.

I really would have loved to have done more extensive testing with more intakes but I can only do what my budget allows unfortunately. I'll be keeping this "project car" updated constantly with new dynos of before and after for every mod I do so people can really see what they're spending their money on. I'm going to install a UTEC so we can actually get some tuning numbers on top of the basic bolt on numbers we see here.

^ if you are in a way responding to my previous post...when i meant SRi i mean using the injen CAI you already have...just dont connect the rubber house (i've read that it loses power) and connect the filter instead. if not then its all good...can't wait to see UTEC in action

I'll be honest, I didn't even think about just using the shortie version of the CAI for the injen. I imagine the results would be pretty close to the fujita.
