anybody have the dyno numbers for this exhaust yet? i got some money in and prob will be getting an exhaust in the next 2 weeks wanting to know if the power is as good as the authentic thanks.

when i purchased this kit, one of my tips were scratched a little bit, and i let xo2 know and they sent me a replacement set, and they were well packaged, and in much much better shape. they should have them in stock if you call. xo2racing.
It seems like a lot of people are *****ing just because this is a knock off but to be quite honest this wouldn't happen if companies like HKS weren't charging ridiculous prices in the first place. If XO2 can make, market, and sell this exhaust for $575 you can't tell me that HKS can't sell it for cheaper than $1300. I understand that HKS has to pay for product development and testing but to the tune of an additional $725 per unit? That's just robbery in my opinion. Like someone said earlier, hopefully if this knock off continues to sell well it will force companies like HKS to be more reasonable when they decide how much they are going to charge for their products. Let's get real here $1300 for some bent metal pipes?

god damn snobs its metal piping dont be mad there gunna pay 500 for the same exhaust u paid 1500 for lol i could change that exhaust 3 times it would cost the same as one hks exhaust thingk about it
Point blank this exhaust makes power
Whether it looks like the HKS or not doesnt take away from the fact that it makes power and sounds good
The biggest plus is the price! A shop is carrying them for $500!
I love the HKS as others do and for show cars and like its a no brainer
But for someone who is thinking about bang for the buck and good quality this exhaust fits the bill for sure
I think MREV2 (9whp) + 5/16 Spacer (8whp) + X02 (say 12whp) + Pop Charger (5whp)for 450, 250,500, 110....$1310 for 30-34whp
or
HKS exhaust for 12-16whp for 1250-1350
I know guys are dedicated but you have to look at the reality of it all too

Some have gained 20whp from the MREV2+spacer combo alone
30whp for all the parts is not a miracle as quite a few guys have posted their numbers for others....even still say a 25whp gain for the same price is better than a 12-16whp gain
Thats the reality....Hans

If this thing didnt make power and was just some stainless pipes I could see people hating on it but no one can argue that it makes great power and is affordable....as long as no one fakes the funk with HKS stickers I dont see a problem with more Z's sounding better and having more power for 1/3 the list price of HKS
Even if someone wanted to sell the HKS, they would lose a butt load of money. Ive seen some on the web selling for $5-600. That's a huge loss. I agree, unless its for show, the knock-off will do just fine on the streets, while you spend the $800 difference on either wheels or a suspension-setup.
I've been considering the HKS for my 07. Obviously this knockoff caught my attention.
I have a question about the dyno chart a couple of pages back. Am I looking at something wrong, or did it lose torque and horsepower until about 3k when the curve got higher than the previous dyno run?
If so, the dynos I've seen from the HKS do not seem to lose torque down low (or power). That's a potentially significant difference IMO.

The top end gains seem worthwhile.....city driving for someone who doesnt get on it might feel sluggish but once opened up the power will be there....with more mods maybe it will be less restrictive than the HKS as well
Only time and more dynos will tell I guess
