Is this safe to put on??
Is this stuff safe to put around those 6 bolts on top of the plenum? Its Ultra copper RTV sealant sensor safe. Will it help stop any leaks around the plenum if theres any?
I asked Tony (Hydrazine) when I installed my mrev2/spacer and he told me it wasn't necessary. If you have leaks of any kind, you probably installed it wrong. Just go back and make sure there aren't any folds and that the spacer sits squarely on the lower plenum. Torque all bolts to MD's specified specs and there shouldn't be any leaks.
You guys gotta look in his sig, he's got AAM spacer. This one can leak around the 6 center plenum bolts. I don't know if I would use that stuff on there myself, it wouldn't hurt anything, but I doubt it would hold up to constant flex there. I would call AAM and ask them wtf to do to keep it from leaking. I know it can be done.
edit to add: @ OP, why an AAM spacer with a revup, or is that an AT? Did it do anything for you?

It will help its made for intake manifolds, either that or silicone. I used to use stuff like that on chevy engines instead of using a intake manifold gasket. It sealed every time.
From what I understand with the AAM, some people have had problems with the plenum expanding/contracting and pulling away from the 6 bolt heads in the center of the upper plenum, I guess from thermal cycling. This has created small leaks around the bolts. IIRC the problem happens mainly due to people not tightening the bolts to spec (over-tightening I would guess? that could maybe deform the upper plenum slightly), but it could be prevented entirely with spacers between the upper and lower bolt guides.
